I am a statistician, working in the epidemiologic methods group at Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care at the University Medical Center Utrecht located in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
My research is focussed on the development, evaluation and implementation of new methodology in the field of medicine. As a collaborator, I have also contributed to implementing advanced methodology in a variety of medical disciplines, such as primary care medicine, infectious diseases, sports medicine and intensive care medicine.
Besides my research activities, I contributed to various courses on epidemiology, statistics and prediction modelling as a lecturer (national and international) and coordinator.
